Christopher is a Chartered Surveyor with 25 years of post-qualification commercial real estate experience. He has sourced and structured transactions for international investors and institutions for three decades; has a record of efficient and proactive “hands on” management and of selling into the market with optimum timing.
Prior to joining Kout Capital, his background was predominantly in the areas of investment and finance including more than a decade in the US banking and private equity areas. Prior to joining Kout Capital, he was a Portfolio Manager of a SEC-regulated property fund operated by Hunt Investment Management where he served as a European Managing Director. The fund contained UK assets managed on behalf of US institutional and high net worth clients. Simultaneously, he was part of a team sourcing and analysing potential commercial and residential investments in the UK and across Europe. Earlier experience was as SVP/Managing Director with US investment manager, Capmark Investments LP, and previously as Director within the equity investment team of GMAC Commercial Mortgage. Before then, he was in the Capital Markets teams of both Jones Lang LaSalle and CBRE after a time at NatWest/RBS with earlier professional training at J Trevor & Sons (now part of Colliers).
Christopher has specialised in UK property but has also been involved in the analysis, acquisition, management and sale/disposition of assets across Europe.
He holds a degree in Estate Management from South Bank University in London, is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the Investment Property Forum.
